سواری پر بیٹھنے کی دعا

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ، اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰہِ، سُبْحَانَ الَّذِیْ سَخَّرَلَنَا ھٰذَا وَمَا کُنَّا لَہٗ مُقْرِنِیْنَ وَاِنَّآ اِلٰی رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُوْنَ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ، اَللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ، اَللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ، اَللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ سُبْحَانَکَ اللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِیْ فَاغْفِرْلِیْ فَاِنَّہٗ لَا یَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ اِلَّآ اَنْتَ

Translation:

’’اللہ تعالیٰ کے نام سے، ہر قسم کی تعریف اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے۔ پاک ہے وہ ذات جس نے اسے (سواری کو) ہمارے تابع کردیا ورنہ ہم اسے قابو میں کرلینے والے نہیں تھے۔ اور بے شک ہم اپنے رب ہی کی طرف واپس جانے والے ہیں۔ سب تعریف اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے، سب تعریف اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے، سب تعریف اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے۔ اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے۔ اے اللہ! تو پاک ہے! یقیناً میں نے اپنی جان پر ظلم کیا ہے، پس تو مجھے معاف فرمادے، بے شک تیرے سوا کوئی گناہوں کو معاف نہیں کرسکتا۔‘‘

آغازِ سفر کی دعا

اَللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ، اَللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ، اَللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ، سُبْحَانَ الَّذِیْ سَخَّرَلَنَا ھٰذَا وَمَا کُنَّا لَہٗ مُقْرِنِیْنَ، وَاِنَّآ اِلٰی رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُوْنَ اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنَّا نَسْئَلُکَ فِیْ سَفَرِنَا ھٰذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوٰی وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضٰی، اَللّٰھُمَّ ھَوِّنْ عَلَیْنَا سَفَرَنَا ھٰذَا وَاطْوِعَنَّا بُعْدَہٗ، اَللّٰھُمَّ اَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِی السَّفَرِ وَالْخَلِیْفَۃُ فِی الْاَھْلِ، اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْٓ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنْ وَّعْثَآءِ السَّفَرِ وَکَابَۃِ الْمَنْظَرِ وَسُوْٓءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ فِی الْمَالِ وَالْاَھْلِ

Translation:

’’اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے۔ پاک ہے وہ ذات جس نے اسے (سواری کو) ہمارے تابع کردیا ورنہ ہم اسے قابو میں کرلینے والے نہیں تھے۔ اور یقیناً ہم اپنے رب ہی کی طرف واپس جانے والے ہیں۔ اے اللہ! ہم تجھ سے، اپنے اس سفر میں نیکی، تقویٰ اور ایسے عمل کا سوال کرتے ہیں جسے تو پسند فرمائے۔ اے اللہ! ہم پر ہمارا یہ سفر آسان کردے اور اس کی لمبی مسافت ہم سے لپیٹ دے۔ اے اللہ! اس سفر میں تو ہی (ہمارا) ساتھی ہے اور (تو ہی ہمارا) جانشین ہے گھر والوں میں۔ اے اللہ! میں سفر کی مشقت، (اس کے) تکلیف دہ منظر اور مال اور گھر والوں میں بری تبدیلی سے تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں۔‘‘

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Subhana-Alladhi sakh-khara lana hatha wama kunna lahu muqrinin wa inna ila rabbina lamunqalibun. Allahumma inna nas’aluka fi safarina hadha al-birra wat-taqwa wa mina al-‘amali ma tarda. Allahumma hawwin ‘alayna safarna hadha watwi ‘anna bu’dahu. Allahumma anta al-sahibu fi al-safari wal-khalifatu fi al-ahli. Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min wa’tha al-safari wa kabati al-manzari wa su’i al-munqalabi fi al-mali wal-ahli.

Translation:

“Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Glory is to Him Who has provided this (transport) for us though we could never have it (by our efforts). Behold, unto our Lord we indeed are to return. O Allah! We ask You in our travel for righteousness and piety and for actions that are pleasing to You. O Allah! Lighten this journey for us and roll up the distance for us. O Allah! You are the companion in the travel and the guardian in the family. O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the hardships of travel, any evil sight, and a distressing return to my property and family.”
